Iraq Star Foundation
Despite powerful life-saving measures on the battlefield and longer-term medical support stateside, many soldiers face long waiting lists for reconstructive surgery. Iras Star picks up where the military and VA leave off by providing the reconstructive, aesthetic, surgical procedures that can hasten a happier more normal return to his/her existing military or pre-war life. These procedures are performed by Board Certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons who donate their skills. Iraq Star pays for the soldiers transportation, hotel accommodations, food, anesthesia, hospital operating room, medical supplies and sends a loved one with them. Iraq Star is a growing national foundation with over 200 surgeons in more than 40 states.

- Dr. Leaf is privileged to serve as Medical Director of Iraq Star. Along with Maggie Lockridge, the founder of Iraq Star, Dr. Leaf is responsible for and oversees the many requests for assistance and works to fulfill those reconstructive surgical needs for our troops by locating surgeons from across the U.S. who volunteer their time and skill.

Custom Iraq Star American Chopper
This Iraq Star Chopper was custom built for Iraq Star by American Chopper's Paul Teutul. Originally auctioned off to winners Dr. Phil McGraw, Gary Sinise and Jon Voight during our spectacular 2009 Iraq Star Celebrity Fundraiser. To help us raise more funds, the chopper has been generously gifted back to us, providing an opportunity to WIN this amazing chopper, which has happened and is now being enjoyed by the generous benefactor.
This unique custom crafted chopper was created by Paul Teutul of Orange County Choppers. The start to finish design and construction was featured on Episode 18: Season 6 of "American Chopper". This bike is valued at over $100,000 and came complete with matching helmet. The Drawing was held on the 10th commemoration of 9/11: September 11, 2011. Presentation was held at The Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California.
